Video: Refugee Warehousing

New Burmese refugees are arriving in Oakland from refugee camps in Thailand every day.  Many of them were born in the camps, or have been there since the 1980's.  They have been restricted from working, and have had little education.  When they come to Lao Family, they speak almost no English, have virtually no work experience, and have no familiarity with modern life as we live it in the United States.
